Denzel Washington, a usually cool, calm, and collected Oscar winner, was spotted heading into the Museum of Modern Art in New York when things got heated.

The 69-year-old A-lister was one of many noteworthy guests in attendance to a Chanel-sponsored event for the 16th Annual Film Benefit that was honoring his good friend Samuel L. Jackson, when a few overzealous fans caught his attention.

Washington approached the group of hecklers and expressed his concern about their rowdiness … and let’s just say he wasn’t best pleased by their attention-seeking tactics.
